Before the procedure to initiate, you will be given protective glasses for your eyes as well as to the doctor and assistants, as the laser light should not be viewed without protective glasses. Your mouth will be propped open as the dentist works with the laser to treat the problem. Laser causes far less bleeding than a scalpel,So there wont be any post operative bleeding.You won’t have an open wound.While you should still take care to follow cleaning and maintain good oral hygiene. You also won’t typically experience the pain and discomfort associated with the traditional scalpel surgery because your post-operative irritation is likely to be minor.
