Chennai Dentist Becomes First Indian President of Global Endodontic Body

A Chennai-based endodontist Dr. V. Gopikrishna has made history by becoming the first Indian to head the prestigious International Federation of Endodontic Associations (IFEA).

He took over as President at the 15th World Endodontic Congress held in Sydney, Australia. IFEA is the apex worldwide organization representing national endodontic associations and societies across 49 countries.

Dr. Gopikrishna is the Founder-Director of Root Canal Foundation in Chennai and the renowned author-editor of Grossman's Endodontic Practice. He also serves as the Secretary General of the Indian Endodontic Society.
